- Add -0.25 for making distance clear (prefer dominant eye).
- Add +0.25 for making near clear (prefer non-dominant eye).
- Always check near with a natural reading object: a newspaper, a magazine.
- Check vision at distance and near binocularly.
- To improve distance VA add -0.25 D to the dominant eye or both eyes.
- To improve near VA add +0.25 D to the non-dominant eye or both eyes.
- Check VA with both eyes open after 10 minutes of adaptation time.
- The high addition is subject to individual responses.

Spectacles sit about 12 mm in front of the eye, so above roughly 4 dioptres the contact Lens power is not the same as the spectacle power. For Multistage the powers come from SEED’s own fitting conversion.
