Made in Japan
The entire process of manufacturing, from development of Lens material to commercial production, takes place in Japan, at SEED’s own plants.
Since 1951
Contact Lens research began in 1951 with the Department of Ophthalmology, Juntendo University, and SEED has supplied Lenses, care products and eyewear ever since.
SIB material
“SIB” stands for SEED Ionic Bond, which ensures biocompatibility. It holds both positive and negative ions, and the resulting electrical stability keeps off dust and impurities while ensuring high water content.
Strict quality control
To ensure the quality of each individual Lens, every Lens is carefully produced under a strict quality control and inspection system, so that it is safe to use.
